Why host with the community
Halal kitchen, prayer space, Arabic/Urdu/Pashto-speaking household, school-pickup support — all built-in. The cultural friction of staying with a non-Muslim host can be hard for some guests, and Muslim hosting solves it neatly.
Practicalities
Most hosts offer 1–14 nights as Sadaqah. Longer stays move into the Rent-a-Room scheme territory. Agree expectations upfront — meals included or not, kitchen access hours, prayer-room availability, school-run logistics.
