CARE & FAITH · PILLAR
Some difficulties are not solved with money. This pillar is for emotional, family and faith-based support: someone to talk to, a community elder to advise, a helper who can listen without judgement, or signposting to a qualified service.
Care, Faith & Wellbeing exists because community is more than money. Muslims facing isolation, bereavement, family tensions, marriage stress or faith-related questions often want to speak to another Muslim before going to a formal service.
The platform is not a clinical service. Helpers here are community members, not therapists. For mental-health crises, marriage breakdown safeguarding or domestic abuse we always signpost to qualified UK services like the Samaritans (116 123), Muslim Youth Helpline, Refuge, and your local NHS 111 line. The Safety Tips page covers these in detail.
Family Crisis Support is the most-trafficked area — see its page below. Other recurring requests include bereavement support after a death in the family, finding a mosque willing to assist with a janazah, language-appropriate counselling pointers, and rebuilding faith routine after a difficult period.
When a family situation is at breaking point, the first need is often someone who will listen without judgement. This page explains how Muslims Help Muslims supports Muslim families in the UK through community listeners and signposting — and where to go for clinical help when that’s the right step.
This hub is for UK Muslims who want to talk to another Muslim — about anxiety, low mood, isolation, anger, grief, or something they don't have a name for yet. The platform sits alongside qualified UK services, not in place of them.
Faith Support is the hub for UK Muslims looking for a teacher, a mentor, or a community member to share the journey with — whether that's learning the Quran, starting hifz, finding your way as a revert, or reconnecting with prayer.
This hub gathers the family- and women-focused support routes on the platform. It sits alongside qualified UK services — never in place of them — and signposts firmly to domestic-abuse helplines when safety is the issue.
Community Care is the hub for the practical, human acts of community that hold a neighbourhood together — visiting an elderly Muslim neighbour, sitting with a family at the hospital, supporting a disabled congregation member, or being present after a death.
