Islamic counselling combines therapeutic technique with an Islamic worldview. This page connects you with Muslim counsellors, signposting to registered practitioners, and a community space to talk before paid therapy.
WHO THIS PAGE IS FOR
Standard therapeutic techniques (CBT, person-centred, psychodynamic) framed within an Islamic worldview — sabr, tawakkul, ihsan, the role of dua, family duty and individual right. Most UK Muslim counsellors are also BACP or BABCP registered.
BACP and BABCP directories let you filter by faith. Inspirited Minds and Muslim Counsellors & Therapists Network (MCAPN) are UK Muslim-specific networks. Many take low-cost or sliding-scale clients.
Islamic counselling blends recognised talking-therapy methods — person-centred listening and CBT-style tools — with a shared understanding of faith, so you don't have to explain why prayer, family duty or the akhirah matter to you. A counsellor won't issue fatwas; they help you process anxiety, grief, marriage strain or low mood within a framework that respects your deen. Sessions are confidential.

Faith Support
Faith Support is the hub for UK Muslims looking for a teacher, a mentor, or a community member to share the journey with — whether that's learning the Quran, starting hifz, finding your way as a revert, or reconnecting with prayer.
Mental & Emotional Support
This hub is for UK Muslims who want to talk to another Muslim — about anxiety, low mood, isolation, anger, grief, or something they don't have a name for yet. The platform sits alongside qualified UK services, not in place of them.
Family & Women Support
This hub gathers the family- and women-focused support routes on the platform. It sits alongside qualified UK services — never in place of them — and signposts firmly to domestic-abuse helplines when safety is the issue.
Quran Tuition UK
Whether for a child starting Qaida, an adult reverting to Islam, or a learner brushing up on tajweed, finding the right Quran tutor matters. This page connects you with UK Muslim teachers and tutors — many of whom volunteer to teach, especially beginners.
