Most good UK jobs are never advertised publicly — they’re filled through internal hires and personal networks. This page is where UK Muslims share job leads with each other so the community sees roles early.
WHO THIS PAGE IS FOR
A large share of UK roles are filled before the public ad ever runs — word-of-mouth, internal moves and referrals account for much of the hidden job market. For Muslim job seekers without a deep professional network yet, a community job-leads channel is one of the most useful things the platform offers.
A lead is different from a job-board listing in one important way: it usually comes with a person attached. The community member who shares it can often tell you what the team is really like, what the hiring manager cares about, and whether the salary band has flex — context no advert gives you.
Treat this page as one channel among several. Jumu'ah is the original networking event — many people have found work through a conversation after Friday prayer. University Islamic societies run alumni networks that reach into most major UK employers, and several cities have active Muslim professional networks that host regular meetups.
Online, LinkedIn remains the highest-yield platform for referral-based hiring in the UK. A short, polite message to a Muslim professional already working at a company you've applied to — asking about the team, not asking for a job — often converts into a referral.
Three lines is enough: company name (or sector if confidential), the role and seniority, and how to apply. If you’re willing to refer the right candidate, add that.
Time-box it. Leads go stale fast — if the role closes or is filled, edit or close your post so seekers don't waste applications on a dead opening.
Be specific: sector, location, seniority, salary expectation, and what your CV currently looks like. Specific posts get specific responses; vague "any job" posts rarely do.
If a helper responds, move quickly — a referral usually has a shelf life of days, not weeks. Have your CV ready before you ask; the platform's CV-help and interview-help pages can get it reviewed by a Muslim professional first.
When someone shares a lead, apply through the route they suggest — a named referral into the company's referral scheme is worth far more than the same CV through the public portal. Mention the referrer only if they've agreed to it.
Keep the person who helped you informed at each stage. It costs nothing, it's good adab, and it keeps the lead culture alive — people share more roles when they see their tips landing interviews.

Muslim Job Support UK
Muslim Job Support is the umbrella page for ongoing career help on the platform. It’s for people who want a mentor, an honest sector conversation, or sustained one-to-one help rather than a single CV review.

A good CV in the UK doesn’t look like a CV from anywhere else. This page connects you with Muslim professionals who can read your CV, tell you where it falls short for the UK market, and rewrite the sections that need it.
Interview Help for Muslims UK
Booked an interview? This page connects you to a Muslim professional in your field for a free mock interview and prep call. Most do one structured run-through, then give honest feedback on what to change.
