What good Quran tuition looks like
Short, regular sessions beat long irregular ones. 30 minutes a few times a week works for children; 45–60 minutes twice a week for adults. The teacher should focus on tajweed (correct pronunciation) before speed, and on revision before new material.
Online vs in-person
Online Quran tuition over video has become the norm in the UK since 2020 — works well for adults and older children. In-person is often better for under-8s. Many helpers offer both.
